Position: IT System Administrator

Location: Rogner Hotel Tirana

Profile: We are looking for a professional, flexible and confident IT System Administrator in our Team!

The primary role for this job position is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on our business sustainability

Essential Job Duties:

• 1st and 2nd level support for clients and servers
• Administration of clients, servers, and network infrastructure
• Installation of software on PCs, notebooks, and servers
• Setup and deployment of networks
• Overall responsibility for IT administration
• Responsibility for the administration of Unix / Linux and Windows servers
• Responsibility for the organization and administration of the entire network topology (router, switch, VLAN, and VPN configurations)
• Responsibility for cost calculation and procurement of new hardware acquisitions
• Shared responsibility for system migrations and IT transitions
• Handling of internal correspondence
• Availability via mobile phone during working hours
• Strict compliance with GDPR guidelines and ongoing monitoring; proactive, independent tracking of current market standards, legal updates, and regulatory requirements, including continuous reporting and alignment with direct line managers
• Proactive, ongoing optimization of all user software applications, tracking current market standards, and presenting recommendations to senior management
• Ongoing optimization of all hardware systems within the organization
• Shared responsibility for the coordination and routine maintenance of the entire video surveillance (CCTV) system across the hotel
• Ensuring stable Wi-Fi network coverage across the premises, both internally for operations and externally for guests
• Administration of mobile phone hardware, including continuous price negotiations and timely replacements/upgrades
• Technical monitoring and continuous optimization of all company system interfaces

Kualifikimet

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Completed vocational IT education or technical degree (e.g., IT Systems Specialist, Systems Administrator, or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience with operating systems (Microsoft, Linux) and office software suites
• Ideally, experience with hospitality management systems (e.g., Fidelio / Opera / Honeywell)
• High degree of autonomy, persistence, and problem-solving initiative when dealing with complex or non-standard technical challenges
• Flexibility and strong readiness to learn
• Team-oriented mindset – prior experience in team leadership or staff guidance is an advantage
• Close, continuous communication with the General Management regarding ongoing operational matters
• Very good knowledge of English language
